This well known hostelry has recently been invigorated by the arrival of an enthusiastic new landlord, and an all-new menu. An excellent selection of cask ales, and its unique location, make this well worth a visit, whether coming from SE Wales (a fascinating approach down from the plateau above the Wye, or from Gloucestershire, where you can park in England (Redbrook, on the A446) and walk over the footbridge to The Boat, taking in the magnificent scenery of the Wye Valley.
